East of site currently closed

There is some tree damage at the east of site on the visitor path. It's a very large tree so we will be keeping this area closed until we can get a tree surgeon in to make it safe. Thank you for your understanding, we will remove this alert once the area has reopened.

Wildlife Sightings 20/04/2026

Spoonbill is still on Wader Lake, day 3 of this exciting bird visiting us. 5 Mute Swans on Wader Lake as well, 2 pairs and an immature bird. Despite the colder start to the day there are plenty of bees out on the reserve, Buff Tails, Common Carders, Early Bumblebees and a Red Tail.
