East of site currently closed

There is some tree damage at the east of site on the visitor path. It's a very large tree so we will be keeping this area closed until we can get a tree surgeon in to make it safe. Thank you for your understanding, we will remove this alert once the area has reopened.

Wildlife Sightings - 02/05/26

3 Little Ringed Plover actively displaying across Wader Lake, while 4 Common Tern have returned to the site, adding plenty of aerial activity. Completing the scene, a distant Cuckoo could be heard calling from across the river.
