Two Whooper Swan and 11 Bewick's Swan (one on the Dumbles another on the Tack Piece), Spotted Redshank on the lower pond with a Black-tailed Godwit + Redshank, 57 Pintail among the ducks

Estuary Tower

The Dumbles has flooded on the high tide- 1 Little Stint, 3 Ringed Plover, 59 Curlew, 5 GBB Gull, 200 Dunlin, 1 Pintail, 15 Wigeon, 13 Meadow Pipit + 11 & 1 over NW, 8 Skylarks, 1 Bewick's Swan, Chiffchaff and Cetti's Warbler singing.

Tack Piece

Two adult Spoonbill, 2 Little Egret, Marsh Harrier hunting, 8 Ruff including one male that has body moulted into breeding plumage, 15 Redshank, 5 Dunlin, c150 Black-tailed Godwit, 7 Curlew, Pochard, Pintail, Shoveler, Teal and 1295 Wigeon.

South Lake

Discovery Hide still closed for repairs but Hogarth Hide is open.

Green Sandpiper, Kestrel, 70 Avocet, 120 Black-headed Gull, 330 Black-tailed Godwit (dispersed across the wet fields to feed), pair of Goldeneye (deep lake), 8 Dunlin, 2 Lapwing, 4 Oystercatcher and flocks of Teal, Gadwall and Shoveler.

Top New Piece from Zeiss Hide

230 Russian White-fronted Geese at dawn + the accompanying Barnacle Goose, they probably roosted here and began moving to the Four Score ground later. 206 Dunlin were on the islands and c60 Wigeon, c30 Teal and 3 Lapwing.

South Finger

Two singing Chiffchaff along the path, Kingfishers at the nest bank from Kingfisher Hide. A drake Mandarin also noted.
