Ruff
The highlight at the moment is a gorgeous male Ruff that has been present on the Mere for the last few days, still present today it is occasionally displaying to 3 female Ruff that are also present, giving a great opportunity to see the display of this stunning bird.
Other sightings include 2 Cuckoos from Ron Barker Hide today.
A pair of Mediterranean Gulls were on the Mere briefly this morning. Little Egret is still around, also up to 6 Little Ringed Plover showing well on the Mere.
