A few more signs of 'autumn' passage with a single Whimbrel droppping in on it's journey south. The Green Sandpiper count has increased to three. Around 50 Black-tailed Godwit present, a single Dunlin and Ringed Plover with chick.

Two Marsh Harrier, male and female, immature Peregrine, 4 Common Buzzard, 3 Kestrel and Sparrowhawk. Good views of Barn Owl before 10am.

Other birds included Great-spotted Woodpecker, 2 Common Tern and Kingfisher in the waterfowl gardens.
