A Greenshank, 20+ Black-tailed Godwits, 100 Avocets, and over 50 Curlews were amongst the waders present on the reserve today. Marsh Harrier, Peregrine, Sparrowhak, and several Common Buzzards were seen, along with a Barn Owl which was still active until almost lunchtime. Also today, a Hare was a fairly unusual visitor to the feeder at the Janet Kear hide.
