We’re sorry for this short-term inconvenience, but this date has been chosen to allow our team to rearrange the shop and entrance ahead of the upcoming Welcome Project construction, and get everything ready in time for a fantastic May half-term experience. Recent Sightings 8th - 14th August

Highlights - Wood Sandpiper, Ruff, Spotted Redshank, Great White Egret and Yellow Wagtail

British Steel Hide

There has been a good selection of waders on the Saline Lagoons with Spotted Redshank, Ruff, Redshank, Black-tailed Godwit, Common Sandpiper, Dunlin, Curlew, Greenshank and Lapwing. There have been very high numbers of Little Egrets recently with over 100 at the start of the week. On the Dafen Scrapes there has been a couple of Ruff and a Wood Sandpiper. The Great White Egret continues to show well from the Goodall Hide.

Millennium Wetlands

The Kingfisher is still showing well occasionally from the Peter Scott Hide. The Great White Egret sometimes visits either the West Scrapes or the Deep Water Lake. On the East Scrapes there has been a few Green Sandpipers have been around as well as a Yellow Wagtail and a few Tree Pipits.
