We’re sorry for this short-term inconvenience, but this date has been chosen to allow our team to rearrange the shop and entrance ahead of the upcoming Welcome Project construction, and get everything ready in time for a fantastic May half-term experience. Recent Sightings 21st - 24th September

Hobby, Black Tern, Curlew Sandpiper, Garganey, Red Kite

British Steel Hide

Its always worth keeping an eye out on the Estuary as well as the Saline Lagoons when in the British Steel Hide as there were 3 Black Terns seen feeding out on the Estuary. there are still plenty of Waders about including: Curlew Sandpiper, Ruff, Spotted Redshank, Knot, Black-tailed Godwit, Grey Plover, Redshank, Greenshank and Dunlin. Spoonbills and the Cattle Egret are still present as well as good numbers of Little Egrets.

Millennium Wetlands

A Hobby has been seen over the Millennium Wetlands for the past few days and has been seen hunting Dragonflies. The usual suspects are still around which include: Kingfisher, Lapwing, Water Rail, Cetti's Warbler and Little Grebe.
