We’re sorry for this short-term inconvenience, but this date has been chosen to allow our team to rearrange the shop and entrance ahead of the upcoming Welcome Project construction, and get everything ready in time for a fantastic May half-term experience. Recent Sightings 14th - 17th December

Highlights: Otter, Lapwing, Kingfisher, Ruff, Grey Plover, Green Sandpiper and Spoonbill

British Steel Hide:

There have been a diverse range of waders out on the Saline Lagoon recently including Black-tailed Godwit, Bar-tailed Godwit, Spotted Redshank, Redshank, Greenshank, Ruff, Grey Plover and Lapwing. A Kingfisher has been seen fishing close to the hide recently and the 6 Spoonbill have been showing nicely as well as various wildfowl.

Millennium Wetlands

Out on The Deep water Lake the Otter has been sighted recently as well as a wide variety of wildfowl have been seen including Gadwall, Teal, Pochard, Shoverler, Tufted Duck, Mallard and Wigeon.

A Green Sandpiper was seen in the top pond from the Kingfisher Cafe so keep your eyes pealed.
