Recent Sightings 14th - 17th December
Highlights: Otter, Lapwing, Kingfisher, Ruff, Grey Plover, Green Sandpiper and Spoonbill
British Steel Hide:
There have been a diverse range of waders out on the Saline Lagoon recently including Black-tailed Godwit, Bar-tailed Godwit, Spotted Redshank, Redshank, Greenshank, Ruff, Grey Plover and Lapwing. A Kingfisher has been seen fishing close to the hide recently and the 6 Spoonbill have been showing nicely as well as various wildfowl.
Millennium WetlandsOut on The Deep water Lake the Otter has been sighted recently as well as a wide variety of wildfowl have been seen including Gadwall, Teal, Pochard, Shoverler, Tufted Duck, Mallard and Wigeon.
A Green Sandpiper was seen in the top pond from the Kingfisher Cafe so keep your eyes pealed.
