Giant LEGO® Brick Animals return to WWT Caerlaverock

Back by popular demand! The amazing GIANT LEGO® brick animal trail, the only one of its kind in the UK, has returned to WWT Caerlaverock Wetland Centre with three NEW models.

Fourteen GIANT 4ft (1.5m) LEGO® brick sculptures are out at the wetland centre, on the stunning Solway Firth, from Saturday 11 May to Sunday 30 June. Inspired by real wetland species the trail includes Fred the Frog, Lottie the otter, Kate the Kingfisher plus the NEW models; Skye the White stork, Sam the Short eared owl and Walter the Water vole.

These magnificent LEGO brick models were created by south-east based Bright Bricks, the UK’s only certified LEGO professionals, and Tom Poulsom, the famous LEGO brick ‘birdman’. In total 253,728 LEGO bricks were used to make all 14 wetland characters. With this trail, WWT is using the world’s most popular toy to encourage kids (and big kids) to build a better future for nature. LEGO fans (young and old) will be able to enjoy exploring the grounds to find all of the characters.
